Welcome to my new blog

I hope that you're as excited as I am and that you'll enjoy coming here on a regular basis. I plan to continue the Friday self & home defense ramblings I have been doing on my Facebook page here plus I intend to start doing pieces on Monday's on what it's like raising a child with autism as well as other special needs children. Then as I have time through out the week I'll post various gun reviews written from the point of view of an amateur weapons history nut with an emphasis on how the gun feels and shoots for me. I hope to keep most of them practical but some will be just for fun (after all, how practical is shooting a Tommy Gun likely to be). I hope that you'll come along for the ride, it ought to be a blast!
